Merlin

Merlin is Satellogic’s latest constellation addition being engineered to deliver 1 meter imagery of the entire planet each day. It’s set to remove the trade-off between high-cadence and high-resolution imagery, and significantly expand the capabilities of Satellogic’s Aleph Observer product.

Onboard processing, real-time intelligence alerts, and inter-satellite links will enable broad-area monitoring that can trigger higher-resolution collections from Satellogic’s broader fleet as events unfold. Instead of tasking satellites or competing for imaging capacity, users will get a global monitoring baseline that’s always on.

Additionally, Merlin will feature ten spectral bands aligned with Sentinel-2, making the data highly compatible with existing workflows and environmental monitoring standards.

The first Merlin satellite is slated for launch in October 2026.
